Three Leading Ceramics - Head to Head

Was going to post this in the 'Detailing Chat' thread, but think its worthy of a separate thread / discussion.
Just to note, the comparison is more directed at the enthusiasts for 1st time ceramic use, versus pro detailers...there are so many options, even with these ranges that are worth comparing head to head, but this is worth 30 mins of your time, if its something that interests you! :)

The base coats, along with their accompanying top coats and maintenance sprays...
CarPro Cquartz UK -vs- Gtechniq C1 -vs- Gyeon Mohs

What I find interesting is that there is so much variation between them, and there is a very strong case for choosing any range. But also how in some cases, consideration must be given to whether or not introducing a given product is worth while or not.

One or two small factors that may cause slight variation in performance of products, but think its a very well presented piece!

I find it mad that EXO had degraded to almost nothing on the test panel after a month, something definitely up there :pac: I had it on my 525 for almost a year and had superb beading and sheeting throughout! Great comparison though and it's good to finally have the market leaders compared!

As I said there are one or two factors that may effect the results but didn't mention anything I felt could. For example...I doubt he washed each section with the shampoo from each of the ranges. Cretin shampoos aren't compatible with certain coatings.

That's very true, mind you I pretty much used Reset exclusively when I had CSL and EXO on mine :D

Watched that video the other day and great to see someone actually do a head-to-head video of some leading brands. Had 2 cars in recently that i had multi-layer coating on, Gtechniq CSL and ExoV3, and 8 months on both still had extremely good water behaviour in both beading and sheeting so i'm very surprised by his results there. Haven't used the Carpro ceramic range yet but it's most definitely tweaked my interest after that video.

Wonder can that Skin product be purchased separately. Looks impressive.
