    Hi all.

    I've a 131 Hyundai i40

Few weeks ago the car wouldn't rev past 3000.. it would get to 3000 I not move.

When I added fuel to the car the issue went away ... I thought it was something built in to save fuel when low

Then today for the car cut out twice when around 3000 revs .. it started back up right away.

Any idea what could be wrong and is it expensive to fix

    Thanks

Could the fuel filter be clogged?

Could be lots of things. I'd say get it into a decent mechanic pronto.

That car should still be under factory warranty

    Sounds very like fuel pump.

What way is car usually driven?

As in short trips or mix or long?

Dpf issue could well be a cause to or egr..

Check warranty. Take it to dealer to get error codes scanned.
