    Hello
The sliding doors on my Grand Cmax are very very stiff. What can I do to make them more free flowing.

By stiff you mean they don't slide easily in the rails?
Try a bit of WD40. If that helps then move to white lithium grease.

Sorry to jump in and resurrect this thread but I'm currently having a problem with my Cmax and the sliding door on the drivers side, there's seems to be a little rubber stopper that drops down from the sliding rail the odd time that only allows the door to open about a quarter of the way, Ive tried pushing the stopper back up and sometimes it stays up and allows the door to open but today I can't get it to stay up at all

Added to this the NCT is due in 2 weeks and this will be an automatic failure.

    Any advice boardsies?

Did you get this sorted? On which of the 3 rails is the rubber stopper. It is at roof/floor or at window sill level? My door is also mysteriously sticking. Thanks

I did it was a nightmare, it was at window level, turned out stopper was attached to a cable which had snapped, mechanic had to remove the door and side panel, fixed the cable and reattached the stopper, haven't had any issues with it since.

Mechanic says its a regular issue on 2011-2013 sliding door models.
