Are you looking for ideas to unlock it yourself, or where to go to get it fixed?

My guess is that it's a steering lock, caused by the last driver bumping the steering wheel as they got out of the car after turning off the engine and taking out the key.

If my memory is correct, sit into the car, put in the key, turn the key (as much as you can) and keep some pressure on it, and at the same time, slowly turn the steering wheel from side to side to get it to unlock.

    Oh sorry, I misread it.

You might post the same thing in the motors forum too, to get advice there.

Try the spare key. Had this on a kia before. The blade on the key I was using seemed to be worn out.
    Worth a shot
