My brother has a 2005 Isuzu dmax auto 3L dsl.
Recently it would not engage 4WD and the red warning message came up on the screen.
We came across a few suggestions on Google and tried them but no change - pressing the 3 buttons together for 60 secs , linking pins in the ECM under the seat to reset being 2 of them.
He was also given the unit on the front axle to plug in and see if it would move etc - nothing happened.
He can't get anyone who has can scan the ECM for the transmission - and was hoping to stay away from the main dlr if at all possible.
I offered to post here in the hope that someone on the forum may have any suggestions - or could suggest someone who would be familiar with the Dmax.
He lives in North Galway but would travel to have it checked /sorted.
