So I have an Aqualisa Aquastream power shower and the control knob (on/off/boost) cracked off last week. I have tried Aqualisa and numerous other UK shower and plumbing parts folks and none of them have any in stock. Anybody know of any Irish stockists of spare parts for Aqualisa? (I'm beginning to get a bit smelly :D:D) Thanks

    Mt agencies 01 8643363

You need to be able to tell them if you have a mark one, two or three

I have two of those showers in my house. I bought replacement control knobs directly from Aqualisa UK it was no problem. Although they are expensive. Also I have replaced the pump about twice in each shower and, they don't seem to last long at all.

They come with a 3 years parts and labour warranty. If a professional replaces a part then that part is covered for 3 years. You must be getting at least 3 years out of each pump?

Installed in 2000. As of now, the motors in both are gone again and I am fed up replacing them. I have disconnected the power supplies and they work ok as a normal unpumped shower.

Average lifespan of a shower is 10 years or so. That would explain it.

Edit: They are a good shower though pricey. A much better job is a separate 3 bar pump & a dial on the wall with a shower head. You could use the same pump for both showers

Thanks Lads - so apparently these knobs are on back order nearly everywhere. MT Agencies told me that there was a production problem hence the lack of knobs :D:D.

We also have two of these Aquastreams - both Mk 2 installed 15 years ago. Had a few small problems over the years but overall a good experience with them. Will just have to wait to see who gets one in stock first. If I was replacing I would go for the new version. Hopefully the footprint of the newer one is somewhat similar to the old one. But I also hope that's later rather than sooner as they are pricey. Thanks again
