    Hi,
A friend was caught selling 1 carton of cigarettes in Ireland. What do you guys think he would get max? A fine? Will he be convicted?

I see people on the buy and sell Facebook groups selling duty free fags, and I sigh at their stupidity.

You You're friend will be made smoke them all in one go as a punishment.

In reality he'll probably just get fined, the size of which will depend on the level of cigarettes seized - being one carton he might get let off with a caution.
