Concealed shower valve

Hi all I’m purchasing a concealed shower valve on the internet from a British website. They state, in the technical specs, that the inlet and outlet connection sizes are 15mm. Will this suit 1/2” qualplex push on fittings? Do I need to use ptfe tape with This? Should I use compression fittings instead? Thanks.

From your other thread which says the valve has 15mm female connections I suspect two of these will get you going https://www.superdiscountplumbing.com/plumbing-supplies/pipelife-qual-fit-male-bsp-adaptor/730565 but you can do the same with brass push fit fittings and compression fittings.

On the screw threaded end you do need ptfe tape or one of the other pipe sealing methods beloved of plumbers.
