    Wondering if any advantage to add slurry king or similar to tank. It's near full. Will adjatate it shortly and was going to pour this in when mixing. Probably won't get to spread for month or more.

    It won't do any harm but best results are from putting it into the tank from the start and letting it work as long as possible. It makes agitating much easier and quicker so that benefit will be missing.

    The supposed greater availability of N from using it is a bit up in the air, sellers saying much better N availability but not many results from research to back it up.

    Cheers. Hoping it will help with the crust and any other benefits at spreading are welcome too.

    Different ones out there so hard to get an average price. I bought mine on special offer in November but I can't remember the price, sorry.

    Price at Magenta Direct;
    SLURRY INOCULANT 1Kg - €38.00

    I Kg of Slurry Inoculant will treat 200,000 litres of slurry.
    Simply add the product when the tank is 1/3 full, a quick agitation.
    Leave for 12 weeks and then spread.

    Little point in adding it now, try it next year and follow instructions.

    If the tank is near full I'd leave it. One of the additives we used made it froth up a bit ontop.
