Heating system question

    Hello,

We are building a stand alone conservatory at the far end of the garden, 23 meters sq. We just want as simple a heating set up as possible. We don't want to use Electricity or solid fuel as a heating option.

I am just wondering if an oil tank/burner can connect directly to radiators or is it essential to have a copper cylinder in place?
Would Gas be a better option or does that require a cylinder also?

    Regards

    JJ

The Rads are on a circuit direct to the burner of an oil boiler. It's what heats (indirectly) the hot water in your cylinder that comes out of your tap. Be careful if you are adding a rad in a conservatory. If it isn't independently sourced, i.e. connected to your house heating system, it will have a big negative effect on your BER rating.
