Suzuki Swift alternator wiring problem

Hey guys so I just have a quick question on this. The car is my girlfriend's and it is a 06 Suzuki Swift 1.3. So the wires for the alternator pulled away from the plug (it's a 2 wire 1 black/ one black & white). My problem is my brother wants to fix it but is worried about blowing something & doesn't know which pin takes what wire. So I bought another plug but this one is a 3 pin vitara plug with a blue/red, a blue & a black wire (bought so he wouldn't have to repin the old plug). So my question is does anyone know which colour wire from the vitara plug would splice to which original swift wire or how I would figure out this headache.
