Villa for family group approx 10 people

    I just wondered if anyone had any experience of renting large house/villa with pool in France or Italy in Summer.?
    Nowhere too remote. Walk to shop , restaurants. Any web sites particularly good for larger houses? I’d appreciate any advice or personal experience please.

    www.airbnb.ie and www.homeaway.com both have large houses/villas
    I used airbnb for 6 adults, 3 kids last year and doing same this year.
