    Hi All,

Looking to move away from diesel as I no longer do any mileage - prob about 10,000KM per annum. Not very many options in a family type saloon/estate. Budget < 13,000. Saw this Merc on Carzone. I know its in the "Bermuda triangle" but I've bought my last 2 cars from Naas Road Autos with no issues. Anyone familiar with the Merc 1.8 in this facelift version. Probably not too light on juice but how is reliability. Probably a smallish engine for a large body. Mileage seems quite low for a 2 owner car but that could be checked. Really like the colour.

    It's a 1.8 kompressor 182bhp?

I'd say your looking at 30 to 35mpg, I had a 2.0l kompressor and think it was around the mid 30's if I remember right.
It could shift though and 182bhp is nothing to be sniffed at.

That particular garage I know the name over the door, personally I'd buy a car from him. He's not a pop up shop kinda guy.
