Struggling for ideas (chest/stomach piece)

Im starting to plan my next large piece. I have two coloured, old school style swallows, linked with an Ireland flag being held in their beaks. Its on my chest. (Cant upload pics yet. Im starting to plan my next large piece.

Im struggling to think up a new piece for sternum to lower belly area that wont look out of place. But all i can come up with is a ship on rolling waves to match the sailor theme of the swallows.
Any suggestions??
