    Hi Friends,

A few questions about the construction of a wet room.

    1. Can a wet room tiled floor be created on a poured concrete floor
    2. Can a wet room floor be created in an upstairs bathroom where the floor is rafter style and not concrete?

Also, does anyone know the average price per sq M a tiler charges?
For context, 50% of tiles would be large 800x800mm format and other 50% hexagon tiles

    I'm based in Wexford/Wicklow area

    Thanks,
    E

    Yes to both questions

Tilers can use adhesive to create falls to suit wet room floors on leveled concrete floors.

The second question is a little more difficult but can be done. I assume you mean timber joists. Creating a wet room on a first floor with timber joists can be done but needs more attention to detail to ensure no leaks. There are tanking specialists who can completely seal and waterproof before tiling is installed
