    Hi
Replacing my Sky box with Linux receiver . I need a 2 x Sat and 1 x TV channels . I am trying to decide between the
           Edision™ OS MEGA Combo (2x DVB-S2 + DVB-T2/S2/C) @ €220
           SAB™ Unix HD Triple Tuner @ €141
           Amiko™ Alien 2+ Triple Tuner @ €141
Is the Edision worth the extra cost ?. Of the SAB and the Amiko which would be better ?.
Are there any other boxes I should consider Formuler F1 for example ?
I know Linux boxes aren't exactly plug and play but I would need something that would be stable for the times others are watching and
    I am not around .
Thanks for any suggestions you may have

    Linux does not mean Enigma2.

2 and 3 in your lists are Sh4 boxes. E2 was written for MIPS boxes. Those 2 boxes also have very low spec processors (Operate at Apx 450Mhz).

The formuler and tiviar box have Broadcom chipsets and 1.3ghz processor.

    Apples and fruit salad sweets.

    Hi STB
Thanks for your reply . So would I be better off going for the Edision™ OS MEGA Combo with E2 preloaded or would the Formuler F1 ( also with E2 ) give me nearly the same performance at a much lower price ?.

Yes the latter. Theres 2 1.3GHZ boxes around the £99 mark. Tiviar and Formuler F1. Main difference between the 2 is the Tiviar takes an internal drive whilst the F1 has an esata connection at the back of the box.
