slurry fert timing

    hi all. have rented ground this year that hasn't been spoiled in the past number of years only receiving straight N for silage.
    planning on grazing and maybe if needing to cutting a bit ,
    would putting slurry on now  (ASAP) and then fertiliser closer to mid march april for turnout? haven't tested soil , conacre land.
    can only assume lacking in P and K, very dry sandy so N probably leaching

    Test it. Less than 20 euro per 12 acre sample. One bag of compound will pay for each sample and you'll get value for the rest of the fert apply.
