Hey

I had an excel spreadsheet that calculated cost of mortgage year to year. It also allowed to change the interest rate, to reflect increases and drops in the interest rate.

Don't know where i found it, and it was on another laptop that no longer works.

Just trying to figure out a few options, as i'm currently coming off a fixed rate of 3.5% and may look to fix it for 3 years at 3.15%, i'm just looking to work out how much a week it will work out as and also how much will be remaining after the 3 year period.

You need the PMT formula in excel.

Yes, you need to put in the interest rate.

Put the term in in years and divide the answer by -12 to get the monthly payment.

There is a Lot of help online for using excel functions

try the app karls calculator, its really easy to use and is very useful to find out what interest you save by paying few quid in advance etc. def worth downloading and its free

Cheers on phone and links not opening properly...Do any of them allow for different rates, like 12 payments @3.5 and 36 payment @3.15
