IWI fix insulation to slats or direct to solid wall?

We are getting a room which has solid walls (no cavity) insulated using internal wall insulation. Currently the walls have slats and plasterboard on them. There is no indication of any damp on the wall.

Pull everything off, plaster up any cracks, and use air-tightness tape at floor / perimeter junctions. Ensure adequate ventilation and heat are provided in the room, IWI can lead to interstitial condensation.
