    Hi all,

Due to the vagaries of Eir and their stupid fibre setup( I'm Fibre to exchange), I'm unable to get more than 12 Mb/s down and 0.65Mb/s up(yes that's 0.65).
My parents live 120metres away in an estate and are FTTC so get 80-90Mb/s down and 30Mb/s up.

Basically what do I need to connect to theirs?

I have clear LOS to their roof top from mine ( I remember from last time I was fixing his aerial..)

Obviously trying to keep cost down but with two teenagers in my house, my net just cant take it anymore.

    Cheers in advance.

Two ubiquiti antennas at 5ghz ie Loco m5 will do at that distance. Installation is easy enough.
