Hi all I am looking for some advice on tyre size. The current tyre that is on my bike is a 700 x 35C however I was wondering can anyone tell me how much bigger I can go?

depends on the bike as much as the rim. what bike is it?

Trek, road bike. Fork frame has plenty of wiggle room.

Disk or calipers? Disks will give you a lot more clearance.

Why go bigger on a roadie, trying to CX with it?

you'ld need to measure the clearance from the 35mm tyre to the forks and stays to know for sure.

trek may have guidance online somewhere about how much clearance is available on your specific bike. but don't forget any buckles would reduce the stated clearance.
