Not quite sure what the problem is so hoping someone on here could help. During the week an issue started with my car, as above, it is a 06 passat. When I unlock the car using the remote fob all the doors will unlock and all will open from the outside except the passenger door. This will only open from the inside.

Has anyone encountered this before and if so, how did you fix it? I've given a quick look over Google results and some said that disconnecting the battery for a few minutes may help.

Can you open the door from outside at any time?

Open the door and remove the door card.
Sounds like the linkage to the handle isn't right

No, it won't open from the outside at all but it's fine from the inside.

That does sound like a issue with the handle linkage.
    Does it feel loose?
Either way, it shouldn't be too hard to find out if you remove door card.

First though, try disconnect battery for a few mins (note you may have to enter a radio code afterwards)
