Immersion not working!

Please help! My immersion is only working when switched to sink not to bath! will i need to replace the whole unit? trouble is that my tank is quite small so even when the bath element was working there would only be enough hot water for about half a bath! what should id do! thanks

Most plausible scenario is the element in the tank needs to be replaced they don't last forever and can be covered in limescale or corrosion.
