Hi all. So first off, I'm aware there is a sky Q thread, but it's 1200+ posts long, and I have only one specific question. Secondly, this question is actually for a friend of mine.

As you might have surmised from the thread title, I'm basically looking for some method similar to the magic eye in order to be able to watch what's on the box in one room on tv in another room. I was thinking some sort of ir extender thing with an HDMI splitter, but if anybody could a) tell me if the above is possible, and b) name or link relevant bits of kit I would be most grateful
