First-time Mercedes car owner - recommend forums, diagnostics, resources?

We just got our first Mercedes - a 2014 C220 CDI bought privately.

Can anyone recommend the best owner discussion forums out there?

Also, what is the best diagnostic tool that can be got for around €100?
The parktronic system does not appear to be working. I want to read the code and see if a sensor is faulty.
Perhaps a reset will fix it. Is there a low-cost tool that can do this? (read AND Reset)

Finally, is there the equivalent of BMW's realoem.com for looking up Mercedes part numbers?

    Thanks,
    PH

    No takers huh?

As we are planning to keep the car for a few years, I was thinking of getting this diagnostic unit.
Anyone used it - any good?

I'll double check others for you.

There is great feedback on some of them when you want info

Mercs need the STAR system for advanced error codes but something like that will be fine for run of the mill stuff.

http://forums.mbclub.co.uk or youtube search for your model issuse

MB Club uk is a useful forum, I always found it more relevant then benzworld as they dont get the diesel engines.
Best of luck with the new motor

I finally got around to borrowing a friend's diagnostic kit to investigate this parking sensor problem further.

    This error came up:

"Multifunction (Parking assistance - PTS (Parking assistance)
DTC Description: 924E - Parking assistance sensor 3 front
    - Signal, permanent high value - Permanent

I cleared it, and of course it came back again straight away.

Are the sensors supposed to "tick" when they are on, if you listen closely to them?

Also, there are 6 sensors on front - which side do they count from?

Are replacement sensors plug and play, or do they need to be coded to the car?

Also, can they be bought ready-painted - car is silver.

    Thanks, PH
