Grouper on a JD 1360 mower

Hi all. Last year a contractor charged €7 an acre to rake out silage into 20ft swards and some into 30ft for bits of the 2nd cut. I was thinking of trying to pick up a grouper (2nd hand off JD agent) and putting it on the 10ft mower. I've heard they're tempermental/problematic etc etc. Any thoughts? We cut roughly 130-150acres per yr.

Not sure what the problem is with them, sometimes it's the hydraulic motor that drives them, or the actual belt itself. I suppose the motor gets worn out, then can't drive the belt fast enough. How much is a used one?

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

About €1000 plus fitting. If its acting up though, its just a bloody headache while you're mowing.
