Advice on Gas Boiler noise

    Hi Guys,
I wonder would you have any thoughts on an issue Im having with my boiler. I will call a professional but the last time I did , typically the issue didnt happen when he was here.

The System is newish, about 2 years old.

Its an Ideal Logic Heat 15 (not a combi)

2 Zone system, Zone 1: Rads, Zone 2 Hot water tank

The issue: Lately it runs for about 1/2 hour and then starts to make a groaning sound, I have a feeling its coming from the pump , maybe air passing thru the impeller. I have notice when I hear the noise and Zone 1 is active , Zone 2 is off , if I press boost on Zone 2 (tank) , that being both zones running the noise stops.

The noise also happens when I turn off the boiler and its cycling down .

Would any of you guys have any thought so I might better inform the installer when he comes to fix it?

    Thanks in advance

Have you ever had is serviced in the 2 years since install? As this would be the starting point.

@ DGOBS Serviced x2 since I got it, first service was 11 months after install in order to secure guarantee from manufacturer , and then serviced again 12 months later .

@corkgsxr , its a brand new system, the house was gutted to install internal insulation , a whole new system was installed under SEAI grant

    Ill attach picture now
