    just done one 20min test.

    Critical Power set @ 250W by GC and target wattage was 255W for the twenty min test.
    what should my ftp be as a result of this?
    is it that a generic number of 250W is set and its a a case of how i do against that?

    thanks

    CP is not the same as FTP. It's calculated by Golden Cheetah on the basis of your maximum efforts for certain time periods. It'll usually be higher than your FTP.

    If you did 255 for your 20 minute test, then your FTP is around 242w.

    If you do the type of test with a 5 minute leg-emptier before the 20 minute interval that that's enough data for GC to calculate your FTP, as long as the whole session is in GC.

    FTP = CP60

    And as long as you did that 5min emptier. The 5 min should be at least 10%++ more.
