Hi. I was thinking of building a porch over the front door and extending over the garage. I know that I will need planning permission but I am getting quotes of 12k to 15k. which seems very high for just getting the planning approval. Is this crazy money or should I just go 2mt x 2 mt

12k for planning for a porch. I must get into that game. Oh wait, I am in that game.
I think they miss heard you and thought you were planning to buy a porsche.

Or 12k to build the porch maybe? (although that might be a little low)

I got these quotes over the phone from a couple of local architect's. I would appreciate any advice or contact numbers for anybody who would do drawings for me. I am still in shock. I am in Raheny, Dublin 5

Maybe the architect quoted the build cost?
