Golden Retriever bed type recommendation

We've a golden retriever that likes nothing better than swimming & getting muddy.

Her last bed had a detachable cover that was forever in the washing machine but a cushion inside that used to get wet through the outer cover.
As a result it wasn't great.

She's now on an outdoor beanbag type thing (indoors) but that's not great either as when she's wet the dampness goes through it.

Is there anyone that has a bed that's waterproof & easy to wash?

    Thanks

No, but I tend to lift his bed and let him lie on his vetbed to dry off and then let him on to his comfy bed. But a retrievers coat is probably much longer and takes longer to dry.

You could always introduce him to a hairdryer.

I did that to my parents-in-law’s golden retriever while they where on holiday, after a very wet day up at Killiney Hill, now she barks if they don’t use it when she gets wet...6 years later...

I have 2 retrievers and one is a mucky pup!! What I do is (when I don't have time to blast them dry) .. put a fleece on them to dry off and then towels on the couches as they usually take one each. I have a strip of vet bed on the actual dog bed and that does the job just fine - no need to put a towel on top etc
I have 2 types of fleece - hotterdog (cheaper) and equalfeece both work great to dry them. A few people here like ruff and tumble coats but my fleeces have better coverage (Imo ;) ) lol. If the weather is manky I put the equalfeece on them going out and just spin them in the washing machine when we come back before throwing on the radiator! ;)

Oh another thing to try would be an EasiDri towel - they're expensive but worth it as you just ring them out and go again and again and roll it back up into the tube when you're done - they get LOADS of water and muck off them.
