A bad fall

My sister fell down a step 3 weeks ago due to there being no light on in a public area, she hurt arm, shoulder and left leg and has since been on painkillers and cant stand for long periods. She contacted a solicitor and she went to her doctor who said she twisted her back though at the time it was only for pain relief. In the meantime her solcr sent her doctor the letter to formally see her for assessment. On Tuesday her doctor rang her saying that he didn't think her injury was that bad and it would clear up. What are the implications now of a case being taken as she is still in continual pain and unable to carry out daily duties

Moderator: if your sister already has a solicitor, she can direct any questions she has in that direction.
