I have just registered on revenue for a job I started in September for which I was paying emergency tax. Will I get reimbursed fully through my employer or will I have to get it back for 2017 from revenue directly?

    Through Revenue.

    Hi OP.

Log into your MyAccount, go to "manage my tax" and request a P21 balancing statement for 2017.

The P21 will calculate your tax liability for the year at the correct rate, rather than at the emergency rate, and any overpaid tax will be refunded to you.
