    Hi
We are moving to Knockraha Cork in the Summer and looking to see what options for BroadBand are available.
I can see we can get LTE Imagine Broadband. From the thread below they only look OK depending on what mast you connect to. Can anyone tell me what the knockraha mast is like

I think I found on the OpenEir website that Knockraha is listed as Second Half of 2018 is this realisitic does anyone know. And if so how do you actually get connected to the service.

I can't comment on the Imagine service in the area but for the Openeir product you can check if your new home will be covered by inputting the Eircode on
    http://fibrerollout.ie/ (Check 300k)

If you are due to be covered when the work is complete you can order from a selection of the providers listed on http://fibrerollout.ie/rollout-map/where-to-buy/ (circular home icons).

Without knowing if work has started in the area it is hard to say if the forecast date is accurate or not.

Airwave, Nova Broadband, East Cork Broadband would be options there, too.

Our house does not have a eircode yet but the national school which is across the road I checked the Eircode for and got the following.

Great news! Your Eircode is on open eir’s rural fibre rollout programme offering fibre speed of between 30Mb/s and 1000Mb/s. We estimate fibre broadband will be live in your area during the second half of 2018.

I checked a couple of houses in the estate and it says to contact
Unfortunately we are unable to provide a result for this Eircode. Please email fibrepower@openeir.ie for more information.

I guess the houses are so new that they are not on the system

It is a new estate of how many houses? It sounds like the cable will be passing your entrance but if the network design team didn't take into account a new estate that was being built in the area you may run into issues getting service. Hopefully this won't be a problem for you though.
