Hi Guys, local dealer has the above car, 2010 with 15k miles on the clock (UK import) Can a car with that low mileage be a disadvantage as well? For a 8 year old diesel car, it's barely broken in.
    Thanks

I don't think the Fluence was ever sold in the UK as they don't really bother with small saloon cars. Similar with the likes of the Toyota Corolla saloon.

Is there a service history with it? It should still have got a service at least every 12 months or so in that time so I'd expect a few stamps in that time and ring the garages to verify what was done. My only other concern is the driving style it was used for, low mileage and diesel don't go well together long term if that mileage were all short stop/start journeys.

They sold the Fluence Z.E. in the UK for a limited amount of time but no ICE models.

Hi Mintoe, yup that's the one alright. Never spotted that. I would hope that would be a genuine error on their part, never dealt with these guys at all.

Keep looking as low mileage cars are out there, I bought one last August with 60k, and full Renault service history, great car.

Hi folks, would any of ye know if the Fluence went by a different name in the UK? I've been looking on autotrader uk and there are only 2 listed. I find it a bit hard to believe that only 2 are available on a site that large.
    Thanks.

They weren't sold in the UK.

They were only sold in electric form in the UK, known as the Fluence Z.E. and didn't sell too many of them. The UK don't really bother with small saloon cars.

Here is one in Cork, I pass this dealer most days and he always has a good selection of Renaults:
