Airport security job

Hi all I am looking to get into aviation security but don't know where to start can anyone help me out and guide me in the right direction. I am currently involved in security but this is a different ball game .

There’s 2 courses, module 11 is probably for you unless you’re a driver in which case it’s module 12, laws have recently changed in this area.

Have you researched it?

Hi man no this isn't it I am looking at security checks at gates and x Ray machines you know where you go through the security checks when you fly out . Thanks anyway

No you know where you go through the security gates at the airport and through the metal detector and stuff and they search you . And xray your bags that what i am looking to get into.

Customs do that.

Or else i'm watching too much of Stop Search Seize.

That is what they do in the main airports, Cork,Dublin & Shannon.

No it's not customs there is actually two search areas one for normal security checks like when you put stuff through in the tray they provide and customs are like when you are just walking through and they become suspicious or are alerted by security if they found something that customs would need to be notified about . Might be wrong here .
