Hi, I have a licence for my Moderator on my .17 HMR, the thing is I have a .25 cal mod on it, I know it's overkill but it looks and sounds well and I got for free from a relation.

From a legal POV am I licenced to carry a Mod with a greater Calibre than my rifle?

Yes you can use a moderator on that rifle The law doesn't stipulate what type of moderator only that you can have in your possession on the rifle a mod.
That is denoted by the (S) that's on your license.

And Afaik it doesnt matter how many moderators you have per firearm
ie one heavy but very good at lowering decibel count and a lighter one for stalking etc
