Is it a new arrival? Have you added any new gouramis to the tank?

Its possible you bought one suffering from the iridovirus which is unfortunately all too common in dwarf gouramis. It's a death sentence for any gouramis that come in to contact with another that is effected.

If you get healthy ones they are very hardy. Unfortunately when shops acquire a group they can appear healthy for weeks before the virus presents itself.

The rest of your fish should be fine though.
