    Hi there,

Apologies. This is a planned outage for the Bray area. Works will take place between 9am and 5:30pm today and may result in supply disruptions.

If we receive any update in the meantime we will post on wtr.ie/Wicklow and also tweet using #IWWicklow on our Twitter page @IWCare.

    Sorry for the confusion.

    Kind regards,
    Aaron

And the answer to my question???  Why do we get no warning?

    Hi manofthefora,

We posted this supply disruption on our website on the 16th of January and tweeted on the same day.

We always endeavour to give advance notice of any planned works, when possible, via our website and Twitter. In the instance of large outages such as this it is not feasible for us to contact each property individually. We advise anyone potentially affected to check our website.

    Kindest regards,
    Aaron

Truly, you cannot be serious. I thought you had a duty to inform about planned outages (e.g. written notice or email). Push.
I don't use Twitter. And I certainly don't check the Water website every day.
There is a saying "don't shoot the messenger".
In this case I am sorely tempted.
