Where in Dublin to get a fast clutch replacement? Small slip on my partners Hyundai, it would get you by for a few months but I might get it done now while I'm thinking about it.

Not necessarily. Some garages are not busy for a reason ;)

If it still working and, as you said, could last few months, book it in in any garage of your choice and ask how long will it take. If you book in advance they will have the parts ready on time.

If it is to last a few months it is strange that it is slipping already, though. It might last few weeks tbh.

I left my last mechanic because he was too busy. The service became unbearable tbh.

Some are busy because they are cheap and then become sloppy ;)

So are you actually suggesting the OP gets a clutch done there?

Once a clutch starts to slip how long would it typically last before the car won't pull away anymore?

I'll give some of those places a bell... I did contact bohernabreena gearbox center and they quoted me €380 for a 3 piece clutch for our Hyundai coupe... Is that a decent price?

That's pretty standard. We would be about the same

Plus one for these, they've done clutches for a good few friends. Only once did they not have the car back the same day and that was because the tow truck was late bringing the car too them.
    Reasonably priced aswell.
