FTTC paying 70e a month, it's going up by another 5 euro.

Anyone else get this letter and think 75e a month is kind of a ripoff? It was closer to 60 not that long ago.

Obviously I can change provider if I want with the price rises, it's just I've had bad experiences with Vodafone and so on in the past.

Yes I got a letter. Was paying e75 and increasing by E6 monthly. I used to have a package with unlimited local and international landline calls plus unlimited mobiles in Ireland and abroad. Also unlimited Broadband. Like you, I have always had good Broadband service and didn’t want to go to another provider. I was going to get rid of Landline. Anyway, I have got rid of the International calls, as I am mostly FaceTiming or WhatsApping now. So my package is E40 for unlimited Irish landings and mobiles and unlimited Broadband. The increases are ridiculous.

Thanks for the info. That's what I want too, I don't need any international calls. You know what your package is called now? I'll give them a call tomorrow and try get the same deal.

It’s called Eir Complete Phone and Broadband. Contract for 12 months. direct Debit and paperless billing. Hope that’s ok! Oh I just noticed in their confirmation eMail that it also includes calls to UK. And of course the Eir Sport and BT Sport Pack, dame as in my old package.

I rang the number they give for queries on the letter notifying price hike. Had to haggle as they were giving a poorer offer first; but I held out and then said I would be better going to Virgin etc. Sales representative then had me hold on until she conferred with Supervisor and came back with this one, which suits me better. I know there are probably better packages out there but this suits us . Best of luck!
