Wife went to get 2 new tyres on car Friday and they only had ****e in so said they could get in Bridgestones at €170 a piece for Monday.

Told me Friday evening; had a look on Openeo and any decent tyre touching off €130 so for the few quid and as had plenty dealings with local fella previously said go for it.

When she went to pay yesterday they added the VAT.

    Pretty pissed off.

Work in building myself so very used to getting quoted without the VAT but who quotes a mother with baby in carseat without VAT. Obviously personal use and not a business vehicle.

Obviously no going back to them with the tyres but last business they'll get from us. Calling in and having an argument not going to achieve much.

Chalk it down to lesson learned?
