Injector pump problem

    international 1394 tractor here and the injector pump not injecting out of all and checked diesel tank and its fairly dirty,completely cleaned it out and new filters but dirt must have made its way to the pump. IS THESE PUMPS HANDY ENOUGH TO CLEAN OUT?

    before you tear it all apart, have you checked to make sure there are no small gauze filters in the banjo bolts attached to the pump, if the filters were bad, if there are filters in the bolts, they could be blocked.

    Shore, if it was easy, everybody would be doin it.😁

    I think the 1394 come with a lift pump
    If so, have you cleaned the filter in it?
    Also check that the two little poppet valves are working correctly, and that one isn't stuck open with crud.

    Some CAV pumps have a little filter internally where the fuel line goes in.

    If the injector pump is gummed up or worn, it's a specialist only job.
