Rent payments from social wefare january dates

    Hi all
    Can anybody tell me for certain what date will S.W..pay the monthly rent...is it the 24th or the 31...im confused

    What scheme are you on? HAP or rent supplement?

    HAP is paid to the landlord on the last Wednesday of the month (and it's paid by the local council not SW).

    Rent supplement varies but if paid monthly it's in a four week cycle

    Its usually the last Wednesday so I suppose its the 31 st...thanks pal..
