ESB investing in UK charging infrastructure network

    While the ESB do have a very large international operation which is very profitable I think the Government need to wake up and consider why the nations Electricity infrastructure company which they own is choosing to invest / improve the charging infrastructure of another country while our own countries network is far from where it should be.

    Population density - far more customers there making it a commercially viable market.

    What can the government do? Encourage immigration?

    They are choosing to invest because Transport for London has an open tender process, as they are converting their black cab fleet to electric.

    It’s a commercial venture that will pay off.

    The Irish EV network is a different beast.
