Better quality clothes shop?

    Hi folks,

Does anyone know any shop that sells really good quality mens’ clothes at reasonable prices? I’m afraid I don’t know a single one. The shops in the centers sell awful quality jackets and other clothes.
There’s a couple of gun and fishing shops that have some good quality outdoor jackets. There’s a couple of pricy small shops ( I don’t want to name names here) but for some reason the people who work there are incredibly disagreeable. I have my off days but the people who work there are repeatedly full of nonsense.
If someone has a favorite online shop please share, I haven’t shopped for clothes online but I’m willing at this stage to take a gamble.
Weirdly the best jacket I’ve gotten in the last few years was in Woodies in Swords. There’s a work jacket made by a Danish company called Mascot, the name of the jacket is Tondela I think. It costs 40 euro and I see they still have a couple left. They were 140 euro. Only a couple left.
Finally no shops seem to sell quality leather jackets any more, outdoorsy field types. I’ve gotten a couple of decent jackets in tk maxx but haven’t seen anything good in there in a long time. I do know one good shop in drogheda but the guy working there was obnoxious. Which is a strange retail strategy. I think there’s a couple of field sports shops in Navan, Mullingar and Belfast that stock Scandinavian type better quality clothes.

I'm not sure about jackets (got a nice long coat in M&S a few years back), but Tesco's F&F are reasonable for shirts in terms of quality and value - you might make use of the fitting rooms first as their cut is slightly different to some of the other main stores. Another thing I find is - go up a size when buying shirts in Tesco - in Dunnes, I take medium and in Tesco, Large.

Try Decathlon online. They've a .ie and a .co.uk site and I've bought from both depending on the exchange rate (I signed up to the .co.uk site with a ParcelMotel address).

They sell plenty of nice shirts, jackets, trousers, etc. OK, their range is obviously geared toward more outdoorsy pursuits, but the stuff is pretty well made and dead cheap - especially the hunting stuff.

Good prices alright. Aldi are doing their fishing thing tomorrow , I think I may check their gear out, it tends to be not bad at all.
Thanks for the replies, this is the year to disappear back to the rivers and lakes.
