Boyfriend unhappy with my weight

Hi all I need some help.

Basically, a month or so ago my boyfriend told me that he would find me more attractive if I lost weight. I am 10stone and 5 foot tall. I was really upset and it was playing over and over in my mind. It doesn't help that all his exes have been under 8 and a half stone.

My boyfriend is fairly toned and I love his body completely. He said he accepts me as I am and loves me but would find me sexier if I did lose weight.

A week ago, I just found out that I'm pregnant. Now I worry that during pregnancy and with the extra weight he will go off me entirely.

I feel so low. I always thought he found me very attractive but now since he said that I'm not sure. Now it's out and said I don't think It can ever be taken back. I feel more insecure than ever.

    How should I handle this?

How long have you been together and does he know you are pregnant?

We've been together a year officially, we've been friends all our lives.

He does know I'm pregnant, he is delighted but that's besides the point x

It might sound harsh but you are overweight and it would be in the interests of you and your babies health to maybe look at your diet and see how you could improve it?

If he is very toned is there a big difference in what you both eat and how much you exercise?

You do know that you can't lose weight during pregnancy right? So your comments are very unhelpful....

Seriously? You can improve your diet and exercise and reduce the risks you face during pregnancy due to your weight

    Risks? I'm 10 stone not 15...

Besides the point. I didn't ask you to comment on my pregnancy... I was asking advice over my relationship. But trolling is fun, right? Just get off this thread.

I commented on your unhealthy weight.

And yes you do have risks such as diabetes high blood pressure and pre eclampsia

If you improve your diet and exercise those risks may decrease and your boyfriend may see the effort you are making and be happier
