tb outbreak in South kerry

    Any body here from South kerry? Any updates? Only got snippets of news about it. Seems unusual for that area. What's the local story .

    It's a combo of stricter tb testing and a lot of extra deer population moving about .
    There's rumour of a dormant strain of tb resurfacing.
    Hope it stays that side of killarney .it's the last thing I need starting out dairying , loosing stock .
    By all means the compo is meant to be poor

    I've no proper info btw so take with a pinch of salt: some stuff about Badgers and finding a few Dead ones in field next to an outbreak. The Deere have moved down the mountain ranges all the way to dromid and ballinskelligs which weren't there before according to some locals.
