Paypal transcactions in sterling?

    I seem to be paying everything in sterling for whatever reason. Not sure if this is something I changed in the past. Not sure how to change it to Euro. Any help would be appreciated!

    When you check on your Paypal account on the left hand side, what currency does it show GBP or EUR? Also on Setting is the country Ireland or UK?

    You setup the Paypal account with an NI address I suspect.

    The currency is in Euros. And Nationality is Irish. All ebay purchases are in Sterling no matter where I buy from. I use ebay.ie. I dunno if this is normal because the conversion rate keeps popping up for euro to sterling when I go to purchase.

    No, I never lived in Northern Ireland. I do have a second address for parcel motel on ebay but it's not on Paypal.

    I wonder if related to the credit card you are using, is it a UK issued credit card or Irish credit card?

    I'm really sorry about this but what I meant to say was. The eBay transactions are in sterling. Is this normal. Sorry about that.

    Ahhh, this makes more sense.

    Ebay are US and UK, Ebay.ie is really just a front for Ebay UK.
