Lexus IS300H..Opinions?

Hi Guys

Looking at changing the car, I only bought a VW CC in from the UK last January but I'm no longer doing any high mileage so the big diesel car is absolutely wasted on me

Not ready to give up my luxury so I was looking at a petrol hybrid which brought me to the IS300H.
Nice looking car, powerful and automatic.

Anyone got one and recommend what model to go for. I was looking at a 2014 Executive for about £12.5k. Seems to be a lot of higher mileage ones in the UK

very good all rounder , way ahead of a 3 series , well built , and nice to Drive unless you want to do manual Gear changes around the Nuremberg ring which no doubt the fanboys will come on and tell you how wrong a Lexus hybrid is , even though they never sat in one never mind drive .

I like the the Lexus. I don’t get the ‘wasted on me’ bit. Unless you’re doing driving that isn’t suited to diesel (just short runs that might clog the DPF) there’s no need to change. That said if you fancy a change anyway then the IS is great value used.

I’d be wary of the ones at the low end of the scale tbh. I think the ones to go look at are the 2014s around £15k.
