I have 3 acres that came with a house i bought.
What are my options with this.
If I approached a local farmer to see if he would be interested in using it what would it be worth to them.
    Thanks
    Zebrano

    To sell or to lease?

Depends where it is, and demand for farm land in the area. But in all honesty, its worth feck all, few hundred a year for lease.

    Its north dublin.
I don’t particularly want anything i just want it maintained in exchange for use.
Would a farmer be open to a suggestion like that.

what do you mean by maintained? you could probably pay the farmer to maintain it.

    Off the wall.

Get onto your local gardening club and see if anyone wants allotments for fruit and veg.

Why would you give it for nothing ,it surely is worth a minimum of €100/acre .There is no thanks if you give it away for nothing .
Advertise it to let privately and see how you get on

If it was well fenced and in the right location it might suit for grass livery which you could charge up to €40 per week per horse but to get that there would have to be shelter and checked daily but could be negotiable for less involvement. Something else to think about
